My Thoughts
Be Still is a spiritual memoir that is divided into 10 chapters addressing topics like the wilderness, wisdom, restoration, gratitude and contentment etc. Lebitso’s writing is amazing and engaging as well. As you read about her life, challenges and questions she experienced about life in general. We get to know her through her writing and get encouraged as well. I love her voice throughout the book I thought it was very interesting, accessible and engaging. She addresses topics we’ve all encountered in life especially as Christians and we get to see how she deals and navigate through those questions. The fact that we follow her personal journey makes it very interesting as well because there is just something interesting about hearing someone’s journey in life. Yes, the intensity of the questions and struggles we experience in life might be different. However, we can still relate because we share one common solution which is the word of God. If you are looking for that kick in your spiritual journey then get yourself a copy of this book.
Thank you again Lebitso for sending me a copy.
Synopsis
As a generation living in the current digital age, we are exposed to information overload in lives managed through external demands. We are pursuing success, fame, and accumulation of wealth at a rapid pace. When we do attain success as the world describes it, why is it that so many of us still feel as if we are not full? Why are we getting lost in the perpetual state of wanting more, and fulfilment and peace are just concepts that elude us? Despite possessing all money can buy, why do we thirst and are forever in a perpetual state of striving for more and feeding our ego? This memoir is an intimate revelation of what transpired in the author’s own quest to finding answers and finally acknowledging Who She Really Is. It is her personal encounter with the Holy Spirit and what He revealed to her on the journey to Divine Fulfilment. As you read, imagine having a conversation with the author leading you towards life on a whole new level, powered by the Holy Spirit.
