One of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s favorite quotes was “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” So in this book, which collects some of Wayne’s most classic teachings in a new format, you will find a novel solution for almost any problem you may be encountering. For, as Wayne was also fond of saying, “There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.”This book is divided into 3 parts; namely: respond with ability, true success and the mission of your life. These parts are made up of 4 chapters and at the end of each chapter you get a journal question. These are questions based on the chapter but you need to answer them according to whats going on in your life. These I thought were very interesting and it allowed a bit of interaction and eliminated the feeling like a book is one sided which usually happens with most self help books. you feel like information is being dumped to you. With this strategy, you get to broaden your understanding not only based on the examples provided but based on your life experiences. The writing style is so simple and straight to the point and Wayne does an amazing job explaining concepts in a way that you’ve never imagined before, which was just profound. I’d highly recommend this book to everyone because it touches so many topics about how we view life in general. He defines happiness perfectly. Its a good book to read during this time as we are all staying at home most of the time and trying to learn to spend time with ourselves. I posted a few snippets on my Instagram (@sthembilm) stories and I got a lot of DMs requesting the title of the book. If you have read The Power of Now then you will definitely enjoy this one and I think they are related but just looking at two different perspectives that everyone needs to know at some point. I learned a lot about how I been viewing my life and how I can change that and be happy.
