Trust the Timing of your Life
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about timing and I decided to write a little post to say it is okay to do things slowly, to take your time or to even at times feel like you are not moving anywhere at all. This is a note to motivate myself but if it adds something to you that would be a plus. It is natural to feel out of place, we all experience these periods in life, some are longer than others and these are experienced at different times in life. For others these are constant but for others it’s a once in a while thing.
Social media has set a trap for our minds because we end up noticing a lot of things from social media that may trigger such experiences. Not to say if you’re not on social media you won’t encounter such challenges, but the truth is it contributes. Once we see how everyone is doing in life it is easier to measure our success according to where those people are in life. However, everyone’s timing in life differs, we all have our own journeys. One might reach a certain point in life at the age of 25 and someone at the age of 40. It’s just life and the moment we start understanding and accepting that the easier we will stop being too harsh on ourselves.
There are no time limits on achieving goals or getting where we want to be, only the ones we create for ourselves. Just because you are not where you hoped to be at this point in your life, doesn’t mean you won’t be in 2, 5 or 10 years. You might even end up somewhere completely different than you’d ever imagined. That’s just life it’s not a bad thing at all.
Different stages happen at different times for everyone. Most important thing is for you to focus on your own journey, goals, passions, interests etc. and don’t take anyone else’s successes, growth or current situation as an example of what you should be doing or where you should be currently. Just do you.
Life is a roller coaster. So whatever your dreams are in life, keep working on those and everything that makes you happy. This is your unique journey and you’ll do things in your own time. Notice other people’s successes and be happy for them and continue focusing on you.
Enjoy your holiday.
Until next time
