I am a firm believer that practicing grace and gratitude is so essential in everyday life. This is not only important or used as ticket to get or expect something in return. Practicing gratitude helps you feel positive about yourself and about life even on days where you don’t feel good. I know this is not necessarily easy as it’s easier to wallow to a state of negativity when things are not going according to your plan.
Yoga has given me the time I need to reflect, focus, enforce intention and practice gratitude. I’m still finding it a bit challenging to be still and meditate but I’m trying my best. I am working towards being present and grounded.
When humbled by hardships, you truly count your blessings and remind yourself this phase will pass and great things will come in due time. These positive hints and reminders keep my energy afloat and allow me to never wallow in a bad place. Showing gratitude will humble you throughout any circumstance and it’s something I want to encourage everyone to practice.
